Q: How do you make GIF’s?
A: There are different ways to make GIFs, but this is how I did it: I used iMovie to edit the clip’s length, speed, color, then clicked Share > Export using QickTime… then I changed the file into an mp4 and saved to my desktop. Then I opened Photoshop Cs4, went to File > Import > Video Frames to Layers, re-sized it to 450px, tweaked it a little bit, went to File > Save for Web & Devices, changed file into GIF and messed around with the settings to make sure the size of the file didn’t exceed 500k because that is the limit in order for it to work on Tumblr.
